Fluid partners with AGI3 under Kinetic Group, Kinetic plans to acquire up to 10% of FLUID tokens
Foresight News reports that the DeFi protocol Fluid and AGI3 Group have released a governance proposal announcing a strategic ecological partnership. Kinetic Group plans to acquire up to 10% of FLUID token supply through secondary market purchases and over-the-counter transactions; the related tokens will not come from the DAO treasury or team allocation. The Fluid Foundation will additionally provide 5% of FLUID tokens to establish custody in compliant private banks and institutional digital asset custodians in Switzerland, the European Union, Hong Kong, and Singapore. These tokens will be locked for at least four years, until 2030. As part of the strategic partnership, AGI3 will grant the Fluid Foundation 2% equity, which will also be locked for four years.
AGI3 was established under Kinetic Group, a private asset management group regulated by the Dubai Financial Services Authority (DFSA), and focuses on building complex financial infrastructure across payments, banking, capital markets, and tokenization. The partnership’s core product is AGI3 Markets, an institutional permissioned DeFi solution equipped with KYC/AML review mechanisms, supporting the lending and trading of RWA assets such as tokenized private credit, government bonds, commodities, stocks, and corporate bonds. Both parties have agreed to split all protocol revenues and incentive budgets generated by AGI3 Markets on a 50/50 basis.
