Meme Coins Price Prediction: Dogecoin (DOGE), Shiba Inu (SHIB), MemeCore (M)

Dogecoin, Shiba Inu, and MemeCore are showing renewed buying interest after recent weakness across the meme coin market. However, each token now faces a different technical challenge that could determine its next major move. DOGE has recovered strongly, but its 200-day EMA creates a major barrier near $0.0940.

SHIB has regained several moving averages, yet it remains below its long-term trend line. Meanwhile, MemeCore has delivered the strongest momentum but now faces an extremely overbought Stochastic RSI. Consequently, the three tokens could follow different paths despite sharing a bullish short-term setup.

Dogecoin has built a stronger recovery after falling toward $0.0673. The rebound created higher lows and pushed DOGE back above several important moving averages.

The 20-day EMA now sits near $0.0850 and provides the first major support. Additionally, the 50-day EMA stands around $0.0809, while the 100-day EMA remains near $0.0824.

DOGE currently trades around $0.0894, placing it close to immediate resistance between $0.0900 and $0.0916. Above that area, the $0.0936 Fibonacci level could challenge buyers.

Significantly, the 200-day EMA sits near $0.0940 and represents the most important resistance. A daily close above $0.0940 could strengthen the recovery and expose $0.1007.

However, rejection near that barrier could send DOGE toward $0.0850. A deeper decline could then revisit the $0.0824-$0.0809 support zone. The Stochastic RSI also supports the recovery, with bullish momentum emerging from previously weaker levels.

Shiba Inu has also regained bullish momentum after defending the $0.00000540 region. SHIB trades near $0.00000541, slightly above its 0.618 Fibonacci level.

The 20-day EMA remains at $0.000005229, while the 50-day EMA sits near $0.000005004. Furthermore, the 100-day EMA remains around $0.000005031.

These levels suggest that buyers have improved the short-term structure. However, SHIB still trades below its 200-day EMA near $0.000005674.

A move above $0.00000553 could therefore trigger another test of $0.00000567-$0.00000576. Moreover, clearing that resistance could create room toward $0.00000623.

The Stochastic RSI has climbed to 73.26, while its signal line sits near 67.52. Hence, momentum favors buyers, although the indicator approaches overbought territory.

Conversely, losing $0.00000540 could weaken the recovery. SHIB could then fall toward $0.00000523 and potentially $0.00000500.

MemeCore has produced the most aggressive short-term recovery among the three tokens. M trades near $1.2044, above its 20-day EMA at $1.1229. However, the token remains below its 50-day EMA around $1.2215. The $1.2215-$1.2258 region therefore represents a critical test for buyers.

A decisive move above $1.2258 could target $1.3261, which marks the next major Fibonacci objective. Additionally, sustained trading above $1.22 could confirm stronger trend improvement.

Yet MemeCore faces an important warning from its Stochastic RSI. The indicator sits near 99/98, signaling extremely overbought conditions.

Consequently, M could experience consolidation before attempting another breakout. The $1.1515 level offers the first meaningful downside defense.

If selling pressure increases, the 20-day EMA near $1.1229 becomes the next important support. Hence, MemeCore remains bullish above $1.15, but confirmation requires a break above $1.23.

1. Technology stocks fell sharply as investor interest shifted toward energy and selected defensive assets. From October 10 to 16, the Nasdaq 100 declined 5.49% and the S&P 500 fell 1.95%, while the Dow gained 0.67% and WTI crude rose 10.41%. BTC, ETH, and SOL declined 1.27%, 2.65%, and 4.44%, respectively. This week's technology earnings will be an important test of whether revenue growth, margins, and cash flow can justify current valuations. Better-than-expected results could help stabilize markets in the near term. 2. Crypto continues to see pockets of strong activity, but a broad-based altcoin season has yet to materialize. CoinMarketCap's (CMC) Altcoin Season Index stood at 54 as of the October 18 UTC daily observation, below the altcoin-season threshold of 75, while BTC dominance rose to 60.08%. Our proxy leverage ratio fluctuated between 4.00 and 4.07 during the week, showing no sustained increase and suggesting limited appetite for additional leverage. Meanwhile, as major exchanges expand access to traditional financial assets, the recent sell-off in AI-related equities could attract short-term speculative capital away from crypto. Such capital rotation could make it more difficult for a new altcoin season to take hold. 3. Papertrade's loss-to-mine model has generated significant interest across the crypto community. The protocol combines high-leverage derivatives trading with zero slippage and a mechanism that rewards trading losses with PAPER tokens. Across the eight complete UTC days from October 10 to 17, cumulative reported revenue reached approximately $56.08 million, including $51.90 million distributed to token holders. With growing participation from key opinion leaders (KOLs), Papertrade has reportedly ranked among the top three platforms by profitability in the broader market recently. Assets to watch: BTC, ETH, SOL, ARB, OP, SKHYNIX, SKHY, META, TSLA, LRCX, and SPCX. Key research priorities this week: Cash flow performance in technology earnings; the relative discount and holding costs of the two SK Hynix contracts; and U.S. initial jobless claims and PMI data. Weekly market data cover the period through October 16, while research information was verified through October 18. Observation periods are specified separately for each chart.
