Amkor Technology Expands South Korea Capacity, Total NVIDIA Agreements Reach $3 Billion

09:02 AM EDT, 10/21/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Amkor Technology (AMKR) said it is making additional investments to expand semiconductor packaging capacity in South Korea under its partnership with NVIDIA (NVDA). The new $1.3 billion agreement brings the companies' multi-year agreements covering projects in Arizona and South Korea to $3 billion, Amkor said. Amkor added that the investments aim to support rising demand for next-generation AI and accelerated computing platforms. Amkor said the agreement will strengthen its ability to provide advanced packaging and testing services.
