05:23 AM EDT, 10/27/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Walt Disney Company (DIS) reached an agreement with Channel 4 to bring the British broadcaster's linear TV channel and on-demand content to Disney+ subscribers in the UK and Ireland from early 2027, the companies said Tuesday. The deal includes hundreds of hours of Channel 4 content and multiple new shows released on Disney+ simultaneously with Channel 4, at no extra cost to existing subscribers. The partnership aims to expand Channel 4's reach and give Disney+ subscribers access to more local programming, the companies added. Further launch and content details will be announced later.
