At the “Strive Forward in the 15th Five-Year Plan” series press conference held today (November 6) by the National Development and Reform Commission, it was learned that the overall energy supply for this winter heating season can meet demand, ensuring that people will have a warm winter. In September, national coal production was 385 million tons, with output in October increasing further month-on-month, and coal inventory for power generation remains at a high level. The foundation of energy supply continues to strengthen, with more than 200 billion cubic meters of natural gas resources secured for the heating season, and underground gas storage facilities fully stocked as required, which can generally cover the demand.
