Sector Update: Tech Stocks Rise Premarket Friday

Nvidia (NVDA) is requiring cloud providers in Southeast Asia seeking its Nvidia Cloud Partner designation to enroll in the company's fleet intelligence system, Bloomberg reported, citing people familiar with the matter. Nvidia shares were up more than 4% pre-bell. Ubiquiti (UI) stock was up more than 13% after the company posted higher fiscal Q1 non-GAAP earnings and revenue. Unity Software (U) recently held talks to be acquired by a consortium that includes Silver Lake Partners and Saudi Arabia's Public Investment Fund, or PIF, Reuters reported, citing unnamed sources familiar with the matter. Shares of Unity Software were up more than 4% premarket.
